Guess who got a new toy for Christmas! I've lots(!) of tokens that I either have no photo of or I have only the seller's photos. First photos, just as they came off the camera, just re-sized and cropped. Middlesex National D&H #219 in white metal

The dragon on William Wallace's helmet and the detail in the beard and cloak on the obverse are stunning in hand (Gulielmus Vallas = William Wallace -- the guy of Braveheart fame). The reverse is just as stunning, and I love the detail in the drapery, the shield, and the thistle. The workmanship in general is amazing on this copper. Sorry for the scuffs on the holder, I buffed them out as best I could. As you all know, NGC plastic doesn't buff up very easily. 1797 Ayrshire Halfpenny Token DH-3, NGC MS64BN
Picked up 2 tokens from Bill's latest list: Middlesex Political and Social Series D&H 210 - WM with lots of luster which I have yet to figure out how to capture on WM Ayrshire D&H #3 - My William Wallace is a business strike. Like so many other collectors it has been on my want list for many years.
Middlesex, Pidcock's, DH-447a Die Sinker: Charles James, London Grade: Uncirculated Edge: Plain (not in collar) Weight: 6 grams (usual thin planchet; weak centers)
Middlesex 24 is a penny sized token engraved by John Milton for J. Rebello. It was issued to honor David Alves Rebello, a businessman who died in 1796 after issuing his own private token (Middlesex 309). The obverse of this example is nothing to rave about but it's the reverse design that I particularly liked. (I've since acquired a silver uniface impression of the obverse which will go in this spot.)
Back in early 2008, Spink had a nice sale of Conder tokens that could be viewed during the NY International sale. That was a treat. One piece I really liked was this Birchell halfpenny now graded MS65RB.
Pair of uniface impressions of Middlesex 24 in silver. The pattern (of glue?) on the reverses suggest the pair were joined at some point.
I am really happy with this ex-Yarm collection purchase. It took 4 years to make its way to my collection from when yarm sold it to a PCGS board member back in 2011. You can see the "centering dot" above the lion's back in this close-up...
