Two new tokens arrived today. While I like both of them a lot, the Blything is just amazing in hand. ============================== 1794 Halfpenny Suffolk - Blything D&H-19 -- NGC MS66RB ============================== 1795 Halfpenny Suffolk - Hoxne D&H-33d -- NGC MS65RB (BN in my opinion because of the reverse)

Am I Not a Man and a Brother • Conder Token I am posting newer photos of this piece previously pictured, on previous page. I'll incude the information again, it being a popular issue. I wanted to share the new photos. Middlesex 1038b rated Common, but not seldom found in such condition, Near Gem, perhaps a tad better. I'm sure most Conder Token collectors have seen this issue before. I had wanted a nice example for many years, but waited for the right one to come along. When I saw this example, I could not resist. It's included in the National and Social series, and as such might rightfully be considered a 'medal.' I consider it both token and medal. I have seen too many examples of this issue which circulated not to believe in its potential as a 'token.' I believe it's obvious that the piece was maintained by prudent collectors and dealers. Thanks to each of them for their part in maintaining such condition. They were good stewards, including sellers Baldwin and recently G. Groll. .
I see a theme of nicer and nicer token here lol When will that theme stop. That is a very nice Druid indeed!~!
I got this one for free, all I had to do was deliver a talk on it at my coin club(did it last night).
DH 733 • Sailor Seizing a Landsman/Lion Dismayed This token was struck in 1795 for Thomas Spence, radical British philosopher. This token has a plain edge. I picked this example up at the ANA World's Fair of Money this week. It grades MS-65 or thereabouts.
I received an example of the Herefordshire DH 4 penny token this week. The issue is actually also a medalet. Edge is plain but looks medallic, well squared off. Dealer's grade is Choice Uncirculated. .
