This is a real tough choice but my Absolute favorite was easy. The runners up were a much tougher choice

Love those Oregon Trails, can't go wrong with one of those. James and Laura Fraser are in my top 5 designers, they were great. I would have loved to see them work...where's my dang time machine????

    x-jewelry Jesus coin?

I like your new favorite. I'm guessing it is from Venice. What is the date & Doge of your new Venitian coin?

It is indeed Venice, one of those unmistakable styles that stand out (not unique as much as putting their own spin on a Byzantine style). When I first laid eyes on this coin type I knew I wanted to add it to my collection but I wanted one that wasn't flattened in all the wrong places.

The Doge is Giovanni Soranzo 1312-1328

Shoot....fav of mine? Ain't thought about much of it lately but if I did it would be a classic commem and that would be ever changing because my love of the series vacillates immensely. Currently, though, it's this lovely Lady......

Hmmm... A hard choice... Probably my Thasos tet.

Thrace, Thasos Ar Tetradrachm (168/7-148 BC)
Obv.: Wreathed head of young Dionysos right.
Rev.: Herakles standing left, head left, holding club, lion skin draped over left arm; M to inner left.
Le Rider, Thasiennes 51; SNG Copenhagen 1039.

    Tom,

That is a gorgeous Barber Half but I can't believe you like it more than your 39-D Mercury Dime. You should post a photo of both so we can compare.;)
