1819 O-103 R-4 Some diagnostics for Large 9 1819/8 O-103a R4: Obverse: Star 1 points to upper edge of dentil. “19” is wider than “181”. All of the 1819 overdates share the same style “1’s”, different from the regular 1819 marriages. (Obverse shared with O-102.) Reverse: “5” is upright, rather than canted right. The lowest arrow feather has a tine that crosses underneath the third left claw. Lower right serif of second “T” in “STATES” is damaged, showing at right. First “T” is well beneath adjacent “A”. On this LDS, there are numerous die cracks. “I” is far left of “T cherried from ebay, got it below bid.
