True. But not everyone can afford a nice specimen. Sometimes posters on CT remind me of the "summer people" around here: always building a bigger house to impress other summer people.
Nice early die state of O-115. Most examples seem to have the obverse stars drawn to edge and missing dentils due to die erosion.
I agree. I try to buy coins for every budget as a dealer. I love well worn problem free coins and wish they could talk

1812 O-103 R-1 The mark in the field in front of the bust between stars 1 & 2 seems to have been made about 100+ years ago, and has been worn into the field.
