Here is a seemingly rare early Spanish coin from the (somewhat) independent Kingdom of Navarre. Kingdom of Navarre 1516-1556 CE Issued under Charles V (Charles IV, Carlos I), HRE AE Dinero; 0.72g 18mm Obv: 'SIT NOMEN DOM' around center 'N', dot above Rev: Center 'P' between Pillars of Hercules, 'PLVS VLTRA P' around Pamplona Mint
A few shiny coppers from Japan: 1/2 Sen (半銭) - dated 明治十八年 or 1885 - PCGS MS64RD A Sen was worth 1/100 of a Yen, so, as the top reverse text says, it took 200 of these to equal a Yen 1 Rin (一厘) - dated 明治七年 or 1874 - NGC MS64 RB The very tiny Rin (15.75mm) was worth 1/1000 of a Yen A slightly shiny US 2 Cent - NGC MS63 BN And a shiny US One Cent - NGC MS66 RD
Recent eBay purchase. 1970 10-Won South Korea (88% Cu, 12% Zn variety). I'm guessing that NGC would grade it MS-64? I was very pleased with this one, as it looks blazingly beautiful in-hand compared to these photos. What do you all think? 64?
