Very nice coins. I know where the OP coin was purchased from. I was thinking about getting it, but hardly have the money for it since I have a couple deals going on right now. I just purchased a Augustus coin, with Agrippa. Most of you guys have already seen it.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing that coin, Gil.

And yeah, our friends at that shop have a nice bargain bin. :)

I just realized that my best lifetime Augustus portrait coin is probably this half a croc. When it comes to a posthumous portrait, my best is this Nerva restoration. Judging from my holdings in Augustus, I am redefining bottom feeder. Both of these would be great coins if only were it not for....

I don't have one but there is the Divo from Trajan Decius' series struck 240 years after Augustus lived. From the first Octavians to that Decius we are treated to quite a series.

He was still Octavian at this point, but here is my contribution. I've posted this coin before but I've just had it reimaged and it looks precisely like this in-hand.

Something which adds to the appeal of this coin for me is how often it's been pictured in various books. It's from the Biaggi collection originally but is also the exact coin pictured in "The History and Coinage of the Roman Imperators", "Gold Coins of the World", and in Wayne G Sayles book "Ancient Coin Collecting III" on page 43, albeit incorrectly listed as a denarius.
