Does the country border the Mediterranean, to include Jerusalem, assuming Israel's claim to it?

Just being precise, not looking to offend.

Ha ha...my fault. I didn't mean to imply you'd said something offensive. I was merely expressing my excitement. Although I didn't reply Yes/No - as I was unsure of exactly which area you were referring to.

I was referring to Turkey, Cyprus, Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine, but wanted to make sure that Jerusalem was included (forgot that Palestine borders the Mediterranean, as well, so it didn't matter whose territory it was considered).

This contest sure is increasing my familiarity with various first-half 20th century Asian tokens and coins, as well as general history. Good thing I'm on staycation this week, lol. Win or lose, I come out ahead. :)

To recap, if I may, and hopefully get more people asking questions, whether they collect world coins or not (I don't, but enjoy a challenge, plus the prize is a US coin):

    - a round, bronze medal token/coin
    - minted 1916-1955
    - relates to a specific country's special occassion
    - Did this special occasion relate to this country's independence...technically, no.
    - the country has been narrowed down to Turkey, Cyprus, Lebanon, or Palestine
    - the "coin" was produced by a private mint, and of unknown origin
    - not sports related
    - not military related
    - no hole in the coin
    - no animal or famous person on the coin
    - there is a denomination on the coin, but not in dollars
    - not related to trade or taxes
    - has English and another language on the "coin"

Answers to all questions are/will be posted on page 1 of this thread, as are the rules, which appear to have changed to 10 question rounds, down from 20.
