Well I am quite inspired by the unearthing of the $3.50 "Julius Caesar" denarius by Arnoldoe. He could be right.. or maybe it's a slug from the laundry mat .. don't ask me. He is having fun with it too! Maybe this has to go for slabbing? --------------------------------------- So - lets start with this specimen and see how inexpensive we can gather together a 12 Caesars Set... Only 11 Caesars to go (unless you have a cheaper JC?)... so post your 12 Caesar dregs and lets see what we can cobble together to create the: Ultimate Bargain Basement "12 Caesars Collection"
$15 Vespasian denarius $8.50 Domitian and my absolute steal $22 Nero , all these coins were from an auction from an obscure Australian seller but now feel guilty of ripping off the seller (given all the coins are genuine).

Fun thread. Because I buy unidentified lots of eBay, some of my coins work out to being very cheap per coin. Over the past couple of years I've gotten a few cheap 12 Caesars this way. For pricing, I divide the number of coins by price paid for the lot - I don't include shipping. This is disgraceful, but it is a $1 Titus - you can see the "T CAE..." at the bottom of the bust. Came in an eBay lot of 10 for $10. Sorry. Titus Æ As (72 A.D.)
