    Die Crack

    Is that a die crack at the date / MM on the 1955-S

    I am pretty sure it is not a die crack, per se. But it does look like the die was scratched there.

    It's listed as a 1956 D/S. There were two listed for that year and one was taken off as it was found out to be a die gouge as it was not found on earlier die states. This one CONECA has listed as a D/D. But on later die states the full S is visible.
