    1) No, it's a carbon spot, VERDI-GONE™ only removes verdigris
    2) VERDI-GONE™ is not recommended for BU coins

    RLM- are these hard to find high grade? I just saw a MS 67 go for about $300 hammer price. Couldn't believe it. That looks like a 67. Nice coin.

    Only a 66, but they still aren't that cheap. BTW, if you saw a 67 go for $300, that was probably $1000 less that the going price. Even NGS's go for $1500 in 67. I would guess that one you saw was a PCGS 66. That is the price they go for. 1948 - 1955 (Philadelphia) can all be in that territory.

    Sadly, I'm about dried up on pictures for this thread. My collection is at the bank and I'm not going to dig it out....although I probably should and take a bomb load more pictures. Here's just one of my toy coins for 1948.
