And so I was asked to use acetone and a toothpick on it and put it on a white background with 2 lights to improve the pictures. </p><p><br /></p><p>I was already using 2 gooseneck lamps for illumination and it was sitting on a white paper plate and I’m still getting this funky coloring so forgive me but I’m using my iPad and don’t know how to improve it. I loaded a couple of new magnifier / camera apps to try but don’t like them. So my apologies but this is what I have. </p><p><br /></p><p>I. Soaked it in acetone and lightly used a toothpick as requested. I think I actually feel a “groove”&nbsp; along the “crack” but am not sure. The acetone gave it a toned look but it has mostly faded. </p><p><br /></p><p>I also went outside to take pictures in natural sunlight. Maybe it will help. </p><p><br /></p><p>Now I’m curious about the area on the right surrounding the “T and Y”. I thought it was a stain ( is that what everybody was referring to?) it now appears that the surface has flaked away. Give me your opinions. </p><p><br /></p><p>I going to put a lot of photos on for your viewing pleasure. Maybe a couple will help you analyze what this is.
