Leipzig Notgeld Zehn Millionen 1923 Info ???

    I recently acquired this note but can not find any info about it.
    Is there anyone here who can help me to identify it and what it might possible be worth ?

    Seems to be a check from the hyperinflation period. The text in red ("nur zur Verrechnung") means something like "for deposit only". Back when checks were used here, that prevented turning a check into cash.

    It is a hyper inflation issue from a bank in Leipzig. It is in the former of a check because the bank did not have note issuing authority. Value is in the neighborhood of $5.00.
