Legitimate PCGS holder?

    as steve had mentioned it is a genuine holder. that is the way they use to do large sized notes

    Strange they would stay with the same size, but I guess they had their reasons.

    These first generation holders are very flimsy indeed, the material used is very thin, i have
    Several hundred mpc, in the new second generation holders which are excellent
    If you do happen to get ahold of a first generation holder i would highly recommend
    Getiing it reholdered!

    Thanks for the additional info. I have some of the newer PCGS holders but none of these old ones.

    PCGS also did small size notes in a similar holder.

    What does the LGS stand for in the decripition of that '34 $10?

    My guess on LGS is Light Green Seal. There were various shades of green printed.
