Legitimate 1850 5 Francs?

    I assume you have compared the weight to catalog values and is non magnetic ?

    You've assumed correctly, I believe it to be real but was looking for other opinions as I intend to sell it.

    The coin in Krause happens to be an 1850. In Krause, the 1 is shorter than the 8; on your coin, they're of equal height. Could be a die variety, perhaps? Also, your coin's 0 is wider. However, there are several really nice examples on eBay for comparison, and they have a date like your coin. So, I don't know...
