1828 large cent. Can't tell the variety for sure but looks like NC-12.

Some junk bin finds at .25 each

King George III halfpenny. Can't tell the date for sure but it looks like 1777 or 1817 (under Britannia).
It was 25 cents so nothing to lose there.

1892 Barber half, mintage 934000. Got it at 14x face and it's a better date.

Which shop did you pick these up at? I was out and about today and saw someone that made me think of you.

A shop in Beaverton. You might be familiar with that city, because it's a suburb of Portland.

Apparently if the 1828 large cent is a N-12, which I believe it is, it's an R-4 variety. It only cost $4. :)

Edit: Enough have been found recently that the variety is R-3+ now.

I've lived in Beaverton and Tigard. Was it at Beaverton Barber and Coin?

I was shopping in Vancouver, right near home.

The George III half penny is 1806, only year that one was minted.
