It's bad for the hobby of collecting when fakes are sold as potentially real. For younger people that collect, this purchase may have been a big deal to them as they have limited funds and opportunity to buy. I know it seems like a minor thing but to others it is like being robbed. </font></p><p><br /></p><p><font face="Arial">I also explained the loss of potential profit from the silver content.</font></p><p><br /></p><p><font face="Arial">His reply:</font></p><p><br /></p><p><font face="Arial">"Actually have a few real really nice ones. But unfortunately it don't go as high as it can, and that hurts"</font></p><p><br /></p><p><font face="Arial">I replied:</font></p><p><br /></p><p><font face="Arial">I sent him an email explaining that it's obvious from his listings that the coin he sold me he did not know much about and that there was a good chance that it was a fake. I asked him to send me pictures of his good coins to see if they are any different than his fake coins. Should be an interesting experience if he replies and at that point I will also direct him to cointalk as a great resource to finding answers.
