In these coins, the 1 Re commemorating 150 years of Post and the 5Rs commemorating Lal Bahadur Shastri and Dandi March are a bit scarce now.. well.. not much... but will cost a little bit more than the other coins..

I'm particularly interested in the Bose coin. Where may I purchase on of these?

You can find the Bose coin in two different years. The actual year is 1997.. but a few coins were minted with the year 1996 which is very difficult to find. You can find these coins frequently in the Indian eBay. It wont cost too much.

I dont know how the pricing works here.. I can get these coins ( 1 Escudo and 60 cent) in UNC for less than 5 or 6 dollars. But, I've noted quite a few of these listed with exorbitant prices.. :rolling:

I'm sorry... I cannot do that now... just because it has just been located. Almost 90% of the Narayana Guru coins were circulated in the state of Kerala and obviously the dealers here found out it for the first time. Give me some more time and I'll show the mule coin.. :smile

I think those were to celebrate the third year of his being on coins? If we follow the Victorian example.

Um not sure about that as his 1st Rupee was in 1903, due I believe to some concern over the original designs not been excepted in 01.
