Right up your alley! Nice. (I love middle bronzes...) Here's a (comparitively) run-of-the mill Juno sest.
Nice! I don't have any altar types of Faustina I, but I do have one of her daughter, Faustina II: Faustina II, AD 161-175 Roman orichalcum sestertius; 19.75 g, 30.0 mm Rome, AD 176 or later Obv: DIVA FAVSTINA PIA, bare-headed and draped bust right Rev: CONSECRATIO S C, Altar-enclosure, with door in front and horns visible above Refs: RIC 1706; RCV 5230; BMCRE 1579
Great big chunk of bronze, my guess that would be very scarce as well. Yet to acquire a Faustina II, but the altar types are on my radar.
Nice capture @Ancient Aussie ! My Faustina I: RI Julian II 360-363 CE Fallen Horseman AE3 RANDOM ALTAR: RI Carus 282-283 CE AE 18mm Consecratio Flaming Alter
Great coin ro1974, your one being the variety to my one being "lighted altar" having flames in the middle of top of altar. Very nice detail as well.
