hello, I picked this up on eBay about a week or two ago and just got it in the mail today. The picture of this coin was very poor and blurry and it has obviously been cleaned at some point. Anyway, this is the coin I received, On a gamble I got it for about 10 or 11 bucks shipped. Maybe someone with a little more knowledge about large cents can chime in. As I have little clue if its real or not and if so possibly a grade for it.....Thanks (forgive the poor quality of my pics I just used a flipflop, LED flashlight, and a $70 digital camera by hand lol...)
i like it for $11 i agree, it probably wouldnt grade by PCGS whether or not it's genuine, i leave to those more expert but for $11 it's a cool pocket piece
I think it is a very good deal for the price. Too fuzzy to grade or authenticate for me, but I would think it might be higher VF range, but I do think it might be labeled environmental damage as some of the obverse edge seems very dark, and this is often due to corrosion.
