Steve, have you bought any more British Commonwealth coins? Next time when you are posting photos, please read the coins carefully.Getting the coinage denominations & their currency signs correct is very important. Aidan.

Steve, hang on there.I don't claim to be perfect.No-one is.I am typing with my left hand ,as the second finger on my right hand is very sore,as I have a painful scab about 2" below the finger nail. Aidan.

Steve, the 1/12 Anna coin is also known as a 1 Pie coin. There are coins from some of the Indian Princely States that have the British monarch's portrait on the obverse.I have a 1912 1/4 Anna from Sailana. Aidan.

Apparently and this is according to http://www.coins-of-india.co.uk/ it has also been on the 1911 1/4 anna so they are worth checking who knows I might find a previously unknown type LOL De Orc
Steve, according to that website, the 1911 1/4 Anna is worth 150 Quid, even though the mintage is listed at around 55,000,000.I suspect that this is the original mintage figure, including those that were pulled & melted down. Aidan.
