Take a good look at the dentils and then when you feel ambitious, check of the 2 in the date. Oh maybe you can look at the B in the neck in relation to he top of the 1 in the date. Could be wrong but they sure look off to me in the pictures. Hope you havent been ebayboozled..
Look at the crops of the dates I posted below. The top one is an authentic PCGS53, the bottom the EBay coin:
I decided to look at a few more authenticated 1902 coins since I thought it might be possible for slight variations due to different dies being used and they all might not be exactly alike. So below I posted a compilation of four coins - an ANACS40, a PCGS53, the EBay coin, and an NGC40:
Yep after comparing those it sure looks like another fake from that guy. See the end of the 9 doesnt curl like the other ones and the end of the two doesnt swoosh the same.
I see at least three different "2's" on FastMoneyPlaya's photos and 2 different nines. I think subtle changes on the dates is common.
Update Received the coin today. The pictures I took below are nothing in comparison to the sellers pics. What do you think?
It's definitely the same coin - it's got all the same nicks and scratches. The coloring looks different in your pics vs the EBay pics - could be due to lighting and photoshopping. But your picture of the obverse is blurry, so I can't get a really good look at the date
