Not sure why the call out but anything in an NNC slab you'll have to grade yourself. Having been burned many years ago I'm wary of coins in their slabs. I'm no good at grading Mercury dimes but I see something across Liberty's lips that I'd want to see in hand. Certainly their coins can be cherrypicked same as anyone else's.
I am wondering how dark the obverse really is. It's been lightened a lot more than the reverse given the color of background. The pictures look like MS-65 FB, but that obverse might be why it's in the low expectations slab.
Had to take a look. No mark present, just the spotty toning making it stand out. I was just trying to get some details. The coin is a deep rosy, red with some blues. The reverse is the blazer on this one I couldn't shoot them the same.
MS 65 ...the obverse seems to have weak luster (from the photo) while the reverse looks like it has strong luster
This coin is contact free. Not a ding or a bag mark. The bands are a little weak, but the bands are split. The luster despite being dark on the obverse is brilliant. I have seen worse coins in 67 slabs.
I am listening to some world war ll, Music tonight, Pink Floyd "The Wall" Live is the best. You have two days till Sunday to correct your thoughts, Put a smile on your face, and go buy a coin.
