This one almost tripped me up. It's not an authentic us minted coin. American Precious Metals Exchange, produced them. And they are 1/10 ounce fine .999 Thanks for all your helps guys. Foo out
Alright. 1/10 oz silver at melt is currently $1.76. I sort of doubt that this medal would have value much more than melt. I also doubt that any dealer would give you full melt value for it either - the market is focused on larger, 1oz bullion-type coins. Smaller weight silver is not very saleable.
Ok. Well I appreciate everyone's time and knowledge. Need to take this info to them, and.see what they want to do. Thanks again Foo
If the coins are meh, but PM or just dealing with bullion, these will help you a lot. It might speed up you analysis if you were to get the latest edition of the Red Book. You can look up values without waiting for someone to reply. And, you can use eBay and see what the coins are selling for. FYI, the subject of this thread, the "coin" above, is not a US Mint coin at all.
Well I apologize for having to lean on you guys a bit. Things have been very difficult as of late. Haven't had any money at all for red books, cherrypickers. Plus, like I sId in another post, I had to pass it by my well informed friends here, to make sure I didnt miss anything on these coins. I'm indebted to you all for your help. Thank you so much
An easy online way is to go to the PCGS price guide. These prices are based on the price of a graded coin, but at least it gives you an idea of what is more valuable than something else
It's exactly what it says it is, 1/10th ounce of solid silver or in today's terms, about $1.75. Not sure where silver closed on Friday.
