Wow that's quite the set of Sheldons. Would you happen to have a photo library that I could use as a variety resource. I have a bunch of books, but reading the description and matching it can be pretty difficult for some dates.

No, and even if I did my collection would not make a good photo reference.

I've mentioned this several times. If you want a good one use the Dan Holmes collection. EVERY variety including ALL the NC's, higher grades, and good images.

For my own use I've downloaded the images from the catalog. Eventually I'm going to combine them with the descriptions from the Robbie Brown catalog. (It was a great catalog for its time. All the S numbers and most of the NC's Every variety pictured and with descriptions of the identifying diagnostics. But the images were half tones and actual size.) Once I get it done it will make a nice identification reference on a tablet I can carry easily with me.

If you like the middle dates then there's the Dan Holmes middle date collection

Once again every variety and good images.

He had a Late date set as well missing only one variety. Same kind of imagery, but you can't really attribute late dates from photos.

The reason the mint has to make billions of pennies every year is not for circulation - its for these hoarders.

Along with the Goldberg resource, I have found an alternative site:

Another great resource for the rarer varieties from the ANA is:

Keep an eye out for the Goldberg catalog for the upcoming Tom Reynolds sale also.
