    I'm not answering Weryon's question, but if you want a very nice example of the St. George reverse, copper-nickel crowns (five shillings) were minted in 1951 with that reverse. They can be had for less than $20 in a nice uncirculated prooflike. The silver Victorian, Edwardian and George V (which is actually an art deco horse and rider) are much more costly. I think an uncirculated example of one of those would probably go well over $100 unless you got a really good deal.

    Here are new pictures of the Thaler I have...the flip it's in doesn't lend well to photographs but I don't want to take it out of there, as I don't think I have a better way to protect it right now...

    Ah, the large "rijksdaalder" (Ø 38 mm). The later ones had a diameter of 33 mm, and the last ones (in Cu-Ni) were 29 mm ...
