I just wanted to share this sestertius-sized provincial from Antioch of Severus Alexander. I received it in a group lot about a month ago, but only just now got around to taking a photograph of it.

I really like the swimming river god at the bottom of the reverse.

    33 mm, 19.5g.

Any other river gods out there? Let's see some.

Two coins from Antioch (Trajan and Maximinus II); thus, the river god shown with Tyche on each of them is Orontes -- as, presumably, is yours:

Nice big provincial! My biggest SA is 29mm, so sestertius sized as well.

    Pretty boring coin though.
