Hello everyone, I'm researching large image collections of U.S. coins and was hoping some members here might know what resources currently exist. I'm especially interested in collections that include images along with metadata such as: * Coin type and denomination * Date and mintmark * Grade * Error or variety attributions * Other cataloged information I'm aware that grading services, auction houses, museums, and collector organizations maintain large archives, but I'm trying to get a better understanding of what datasets or image collections are available, whether public, academic, commercial, or otherwise. Are there any particularly large U.S. coin image collections that you would recommend looking into? Thanks for any suggestions or leads.
I usually go to usacoinbook.com for basic images and mintage numbers; quick and easy to get the basics there. Welcome to CT!
