These two bills were offered to me by a family friend. What are their approximate values? From my limited knowledge I was going to offer around $20 and $30 for the $1 and $2 respectively.

The deuce is notably more valuable, the 1923 Ace is the most common large note there is. $50 or $60 for both isn't bad, you'd be overpaying for the single and underpaying for the deuce....

A trade for a modern $50 bill seams to be the right price since she is a family friend... thank you MEC2!

What a coincidence! My 15 year old daughter was really excited when she saw the two large bills. It’s really great to see kid’s eyes when they are excited by old money!

Easily worth $50-$60 for the pair.
