Unfortunately, as real as it looks, I&#039;m not sure if it truely IS real or not, because I&#039;m no expert, however, the place that sold it, claimed to be a coin shop, and the paper does have the little blue and red fibers running through it. I STILL need to get a $1,000 bill, and my dad always asks me &quot;Are you going to take that $500 bill to a bank to see if its real?&quot; but I think a coin and currency dealer would know more. Although the bill is in nice condition, I&#039;m going to try to get a nicer one if I can cash the one in to the coin shop I deal with around here if my $500 bill is real, and try to get a really nice $1,000 bill, but I don&#039;t want them to be packaged. I want to be able to touch my big bills, even though I&#039;d have to be careful with them so that I do not bend them, but I put all of my bills in those plastic sleeves that protect paper currency from creases. I&#039;m looking to invest $1,500-$2,000 in a $1,000 bill. Would that get me a nice, crisp, almost perfect one?
