Large Cent Reverse of 1797

Looking through Heritage Archives, the misalignment may have preceded the lapping/grinding. Several appear to be misaligned and not lapped. This would throw my coin's die state into question since it does not have the detail to show the lapping. But I didn't see any properly aligned S-216s.
