Ok my sly plunder to try and get the most likes was a very bad thing. I would like for you to take me out of the contest and try to forgive me. I know that what I did is of the unforgivable but it is the right thing for me to speak up about it. My account has not been terminated and hopefully the Admins will have pity on me. Once again I am truthfully sorry for what i have done and hope you forgive me. Thanks CT for being so good to me but i have deceived you with my foolish acts.

 

Hey thanks for coming clean AWalker ... you have earned my respect for doing that. Actually for coming clean I will reward you by leaving you in the drawing to be held sometime later this week (however I will reduce your chances to the valid vote count you recieved as I am sure you must have recieved at least some valid votes).

Again I appologize for not laying out better rules ... All of these problems are actually MY FAULT .. and not the fault of our YNs and other contestants as I did not specifically forbid any actions. I am sorry for setting up so many for the pitfall of this contest. It was not my intention to put so many in harms way.

 

*sigh* Been up all morning not knowing what happened. Lost our internet connection about 2 am.

It is sad that when a person trys to do something good for others and others spoil it by being greedy.
This makes it hard for those that have such big hearts to be able to do something good for young members.
I didnt enter the contest as i am an older person but have one large cent in my coins.
I truely hope whoever wins will have done it honestly.
Ive enjoyed reading all the post by the ones who competed and i didnt vote on any because i thought everyone that posted deserved the coin.
Good contest and i know the giver will do right on whom he picks to give the coin.

It appears to me the winner of the Large Cent was iGradeMS70 ...

iGradeMS70 had 13 votes at the close of the contest, however I threw out 1 vote that was suspicious. So iGrade's valid vote count was 12 at contest close.

This puts him in a tie with Ozleck77 who appears to have had 12 legitimate votes at the close of the contest ... I know Ozleck has more votes now, but those came after the contest close.

I had a tiebreaker in place where the first person to post amongst tied entrants wins. IGrade's first post was on page 5, Ozleck's first post was on page 6 (if I got that wrong, someone correct me!)

So it appears to me that IGrade wins the Large Cent!!

However since this contest did end in a tie for votes, I decided to add another coin prize for the "almost winner" Ozleck.

I also wanted to reward Zach for 3rd place with 10 legit votes, so I will add another coin prize for Zach.

AWalker and Caz came clean with their bogus votes (thanks to both of you for your admission!), which dropped their counts.
However I will still include Caz and AWalker in the drawing with a reduction in their chances to the number of valid votes they got.

So iGradeMS70 and Ozleck ... I need your names and shipping addresses ... you can PM me with that info.
(I already have Zach's info)

I will do the drawing with the remaining contestants on Wednesday 11/23 ... and will post the winner of that coin prize here.
I decided to add one chance to those remaining people in the drawing. That way those that got 0 votes, will still have 1 chance to win ... those that got 1 vote will have 2 chances to win, etc ... (Just to be clear, iGrade, Ozleck, and Zach will not be in the drawing, since they already won a prize.)

Oz came in 2nd and won another coin prize I added

Zach came in 3rd and won another prize

I then added a 4th prize from a random drawing with all remaining participants with chances based on likes
You won that 4th prize

I added all those extra prizes due to the illadvised way I set up this contest, so I wanted to try to be fair.
