Lamination Error? Fake? I need help solving the mystery

    I haven't tried the magnet test yet. If steel fragments are present the magnet should be attracted to the coin.

    Yes, but I don't think that there is steel in it. It looks like a thin wall die cap to me. That would be all copper.
    Also, copper does tone whitish like a silver tone.

    The weight came in at 2.944 grams. No magnetic attraction.

    If I send to ANACS what do I insure this for and what specific error attribution would get me the most value? Sorry, I am new to error coins.

    With errors and the fees accociated I would send this one to ANACS or ICG. They will just attribute it for you. You don't need any specifics. Sorry I don't have a clue on it's value.

    Something this major could fetch up to $50 iirc. Most small lamination errors go for $5-$15 on ebay
