The 1943 steel cents got bad looking even sooner than our Zincolns, due to the fact of being struck on zinc clad steel. The zinc was thin and porous due to there being bubbles and the underlying steel corroded. There are several companies which re-clad these cents, depositing a new layer of zinc and making them look shiny! The war nickels had silver in them, not steel.

First of all, I'm not a kid. I'm 3 years younger than you. You need to also know this, I have been collecting, studying and attributing mint errors since I was 16. You just started. So I have been trying to educate you together with other Mint Error specialists on this forum but you always seem to shoot all of us down.

Please share your attributed errors when you receive them in the slab. We would really love to see them.. especially your Steel War Nickel from Littleton coin company!

And don't worry if I'm having a bad week or not. I will say if I did or I didn't. Many members here know that. That has nothing to do with my posts regarding your coins.
