I have been brought this at market. I believe it is Chinese Korean war medal but my basic research shows up dozens of different varieties and without being able to read the inscription I am unable to say which! Can anyone enlighten me? Even a rough translation of the inscription would help.

It certainly seems to be one in that series, but there seem to be many different versions. My one is white metal and not enamelled whereas both those linked are bronze and enamelled. Characters vary substantially too - hence why I need more info. By the way, as I don't have a Worthpoint subscription, what value did they assign to the first linked one?
One thing that I am not seeing is the counterpunch on the back. There looks to be characters can you get a better photo?
