I can't even imagine what it would've been like to live in a world where Walking Liberty halves, Standing Liberty quarters, Mercury dimes, Buffalo nickels (and, yeah, some Jeffies, too), and Lincoln wheaties were everyday coinage. (Of course, I also realize that a half-dollar was a pretty decent amount of money in the 1920s and '30s, but still....)
