Kind of off topic. But metal detecting?

Hi, i haven't ever had (or used) any expensive metal detector. I've only used my brother's cheap $30 detector and when i found a bunch of coins in my yard, i decided i want an upgrade of my own. My town is also right on a beach with a ton of history including being one of the places the War of 1812 started at and there have been pirates on our beach before so i need one that can detect gold coins and gold nuggets. So, i was looking up a few metal detectors and found two with good reviews.

or

or is there any better choices? These two are pretty much at the top of my price range but i couldn't find any gold nugget detectors for cheaper.
