    I looked hours trying to research and not finding similar coin die cast missing. Help please.

    Welcome to Coin Talk. The Obverse of the coin has been ground down. It is post mint damage. Someone was likely going to use the dime as a button or some sort of jewelry device. It did not leave the mint like this. Coins are struck at the mint, not cast. This "coin" is not valuable and probably not worth ten cents anymore.

    You are welcome. People do strange things to coins, so it is not unusual to find odd looking coins.
