That&#039;s just a marketing ploy, a digit on a sign. If the tenths were used we would see prices with 2/10, 4/10, 7/10 or whatever was needed. They work great and I don&#039;t annoy customers with a bunch of quarters they didn&#039;t want. A dollar is change now.
