lol i love the direction this thread has taken. Now for my two cents befor eit closes:

whatever "it" is, it can kill you if you take too mcuh of "it" air, water, protien, carbohydrates, fats, medicine, work, sleep hobbie. Excess is excess, sensitivity is sensitivity. Nothign is immune from it I know peopel who have a mild reaction with certain types of water.

Hi Guys...I am sunburned and beat from a Memorial Day weekend of water skiing and swimming with my boys in Lake Placid, FL (not NY). Playing "king of the floating air mattress" on the lake with a bunch of teenagers can really wipe you out.

Anyways...first, I can glad the SGS thread is getting the attention it is. Also glad to see that Warren is showing his true colors. I knew that time would tell.

Second, I go by two coin forum names, zakgold (eBay and Coin Community) and midas here on Coin Talk. Why? I figured one handle per forum when I first joined. I kept the "gold" theme going and that is it! Then when Coin Community started, I figured, "What the heck?...I will just stick with one of these names which happened to be "zakgold".

So that is it...Midas/Zakgold are ONE in the same...ME and nobody else. People that visit the other boards like "Old Dan" have known this since the board's inception. There is nothing cloak and daggar about it. I even use the same avatar.

 

As for my ebay history and all...I have ONE name and one name only: Zakgold which I have been a member since 11/6/03. I remember joining eBay back in early November so I could do some online Christmas shopping. My first item I bid and won? A Bose Wave table radio. The first item I sold? My ex-wife's Precious Moments ceramic "dolls" that somehow ended up with me!?!

That is when I started looking at other items and sure enough, I found coins. Matter of fact, I bid on two Aboncom items on 1/24/04 (1988 Lincoln PR70 and a 2003 "faded" three PR70 Lincoln) and yes, I even left positive feedback for them. I took them to my coin guy and he laughed me out of the store. Still not deterred, I took them to a coin club and the SAME thing happened to me! Upon investigation, I found out Aboncom was slabbing their OWN coins and that set me off! When I questioned them months later, I was emailed blocked and let's say...the rest is history.

So, I am Midas aka zakgold...nothing more that got taken by Aboncom/SGS and who has tried to make sure "newbies" to eBay and numismatics DON'T make the same $50 mistake I did back in January of 2004 for these two SGS coins.

That, as Paul Harvey would say, is the rest of the story...

 

Wow! Now that we know the identities are seperate people I think an apology is due after this harsh statement.

The confusion is that Stevesgiftshoppe changed his Ebay userID to z - a - k - g - 0 - l - d to mimic the ID of his most vocal critic z - a - k - g - o - l - d on Ebay. This was done to sow the seeds of confusion (as you can see from the above). From what I can tell, this is a tactic that one would expect form someone selling pocket change in a MS-70 holder.

Now, that took no research or thought process to post that. YOUR FACTS ARE QUITE IGNORANTLY MISSTATED. It shows your total disregard for ability to check the facts. Stevesgiftshippe did not change the name to zackg0old. It takes no brainpower whatsoever to mistate the facts. However, JBH, that is a common thread in your posts. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BECAUSE I LAUGH AT GUYS THAT ARE SO SMUG AS YOU. By the way, if you want to do a bit more checking, you will find that your USER IS is on the blotter of the Yucaipa Sheriff Department. That line of yours "I've read upon on you and Linda" has you on the radar screen of some law enforcement friends of mine.

I didn't mean to say anyone was anyone they weren't. I just meant that so many names have been flying around and the addition of a couple of new members all of the sudden has cast a cloud of suspicion on everthing posted. "warrengacsi" registered on eBay on 1/20/2002. "warrengacsi" changed this I.D. recently to "zackg0ld" on May 20th, 2006. Please note the spelling...this is NOT the same as yours truly ("zakgold")

2 days earlier, "stevesgiftshoppe" who previously registered on eBay on 1/11/2004. "stevesgiftshoppe" changed this I.D. to "mentone_mercantile" on May 18th, 2006.

Warren and Linda Gacsi are owners of "stevesgiftshoppe". This is public information from their website:
