I too hate to sell anything but I've decided on what I want to collect and anything else is sellable so I can complete my collection and sometimes to acquire better condition specimens. Even on some of my Draped Bust Large Cents, I will sell some of the lower grade ones but anything that's problem free, is staying in my collection. :thumb: Unfortunately, I have fewer problem free ones, so many will eventually go but they will be replaced with better ones, except for the very scarce or rarer ones they stay put until they are replaced with one in better condition, then I'll sell it/them. Hey Toad, York's where I was born and raised, and where i shall return after my sojourn in Texas, could you post pics of that token to give me a little hit of home? I'd sure appreciate it!
Will post as soon as it arrives. :thumb: I have several more Condors that are some of the good ones and I'll post them along with the York Token. Ribbit
I really like that Yorkshire 63 token. The amount of fine detail in that Cathedral is amazing, and then you realize that it was all cut into the die by hand in reverse using hand engraving tools. No punches, power tools or reducing lathes.
I couldn't resist myself today and bought another Kentucky Token, sorta an upgrade. I'm going to send both off for grading/slabbing and I'll keep the better one and sell the lesser one. I'll post better pics when it arrives. Ribbit
