My Gawd man. You people must think I am a stupid kid. I'm 58 years old and have been collecting coins/stamps since 1960. You think I don't know all that?
Look if any of you guys want the stupid coin, I'll mail it to you free.
Maybe that will stop this nonsense!

The coin in question, though, is one that is very shiny and "prooflike", not some piece of junk that has so much wear that a little more wouldn't matter. Our bristling at the harsh treatment it received is a function of how nice the coin is claimed to be previous to it's cleaning.

Now if it really just had some dust on it then that is a job for a can of compressed air. There was no need to damage it further, even if you can't tell the new damage from the old.

And another thing... There's a BIG difference between rubbing a coin and simply dusting it off loosely with a soft cotton rag. Who says I rubbed the coin? Where did you see that in my past posts?
The coin is a hunk of junk to start with.
    Can we move on here?

Mr Cave Troll you are dead wrong here.
I never said the coin was any great gem.
Damage it further? That's a joke.
If you want the coin Cave Troll, I'll mail it to ya.
Then you can see it is garbage.
What part of "found in circulation" don't you guys understand?
