Keepers or Spenders?

    Any reason to hang on to these notes or should I just deposit them in the bank and use them to purchase better notes? I've plucked them from circulation over the years but many of them aren't in great shape so are probably only worth about face value and even if they were worth a bit more, I feel like the hassle (and expense) of trying to sell them wouldn't be worth it... I've saved a few Low-Run Star Notes but these seem like I'm just tying up money... Just wondering..

    Keep the old tens and twenties and the '77 star note fifty. Not sure about the rest.

    I suggest the OP to use one of the spenders to buy a book on Small sized US notes.

    I'd spend all but the 1977 $50 star and the series 1934 $10s.

    Thanks for the replies. I'll keep those few suggested then spend half of what's left on whiskey and wimmen and then just blow the rest :)
