That's a nice video. Brings back memories of when I was there. As impressive as it is, I also felt a great deal of sadness as what you see is nothing more than rubble with only a few occasional decent ruins scattered in between all that destruction. It's amazing how much damage medieval scavengers did to that place mining it for stone and metal for all those medieval buildings that now dot the plazas around the forum.
I was also a bit disappointed on visiting the forum, lots of scavenging has taken place. Not as sad as the case in Egypt, where temples and monuments have been disassembled in the past two centuries to make sugar cane kilns that dot the landscape everywhere.
SOOOOOO much FUUUUUN!!! Thanks for sharing that. Just thrilling to see and it stirs up so much wanderlust inside (Ive been stuck on this side of the pond my whole 36 years)
