Yes, keep them all. They're worth about 3 cents each, for collecting value now, and seem to have a small positive upside for the future.

Would I not collect $1 bills if they were worth $3 each? Naturally I would. Same with the cents. They not only have the copper going for them, but they are increasingly hard to find in pocket change. Not rare, certainly, but worth more than 1 cent for sure.

Thats exactly what I was saying. Sorry to not be clear but you can still purchase 5,000 coin bags of mixed date wheaties. Mostly common stuff which is in ABUNDANCE. They will be around for many many years.

I have kept sone to pass to kids someday but alas i also flip so many...
However I do keep all new York quarters to commemorate 9/11 same year they were minted. They're hard to find in circulation locally.

i was given a ton of rolls of them. i may sell a few on ebay. i usually, save all copper lincolns, just for the copper value. not sure if that is going to get me anywhere though.

also if the wheats are not in good condition, i toss them into the copper pot. they have to be older then 1940 though... i got both my vdbs from these rolls, i probably shouldn't sell any!

...i guess collectors could and should collect whatever they want. but i think

if you are collecting cents for future fortunes because of the copper content you

have to realize copper is 3 bucks a pound. NOT 3 bucks an ounce. you'd have

to accumulate quite the tonnage to make a killing.
