    just wanted to know where I could find values for 1929 $20 and $50 notes from Kansas City. A pawn shop near me has them for sale. Thanks

    I'm guessing they are not star notes. The $20 is worth more than the $50.
    The Standard Guide to Small-Sized shows;

    $20 Kansas City FRBN VF-$70 CH-CU-$650 GEM-$1,100
    $50 Kansas City FRBN VF-$100 CH-CU-$350 GEM-$550

    Personally, I would check recently completed auction prices instead of book prices.

    No they are not star notes but look to be in uncirculated condition. Selling for $850 for both and I was thinking of offering $775. Thanks.
