It turns out to be&nbsp; an 1802 draped bust silver in excellant condition.&nbsp; I asked him how much is it worth , and he said oh, about a thousand. </p><p>&nbsp; A few months later he caught neumonia(BAD SPELLING).and passed away two days after christmas. </p><p><br /></p><p>So afew years later&nbsp; i wanted to see how much it is worth and visited a local coin shop here in Colorado. On the way there my friend was driving&nbsp; and some old lady ran a red light and smashed right into the side of&nbsp; my friends car.( we never made it to the coin shop)</p><p>A while later i was still curious to at least check to see what this coin was worth. ANOTHER accident this time fatal for one of my best freinds.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>In 1997 i ran into some financial problems, so i moved to Florida&nbsp; for some work. I came back home for Christmas that year&nbsp; and had to see my coin.</p><p>At this time, I knew of know curse.On&nbsp; the way back to FL.,my flight was cancelled. My second flight had an 8 hour layover in Chicago. While trying to transfer to another flight ,there was a two hour blackout at the airport.</p><p>When all was said and done,there was no record of me even having a flight.</p><p>Eventually I ended up back&nbsp; in Tampa, only to have bad go to worse.(this whole time the coin was in my pocket). My luggage was lost,the taxi ride which was only supposed to take an hour to get to Anna Maria Island&nbsp; took about six hours on two separate taxis. We were stalled at the Skyway bridge for a couple of hours because there was to much wind.Finally crossing the bridge we were in an accident.Finally transforing taxis, we were on our way. One more bridge to cross , It seems&nbsp; the bridge was out of order. No big deal, we&#039;ll take the other one.Well i finally made it home. To make this long story short three more accidents and&nbsp;&nbsp; a near fatal robbery(i had a gun slammed into the back of my head and was stabbed in the back while&nbsp; visiting another coin shop. All&nbsp; of the coins i had with me were ripped of except my lucky 1802 silver dollar. I had it in my pocket.) So now a days I dont even go near that thing .It is possessed.
