Unlike Ancient Rome, Carthage lacked the culture that could influence other empires throughout the Mediterranean and would help to shape the modern world.</p><p><br /></p><p>A defeated Rome would not have the resources to produce all the great literature, culture, art, ... and coins that we all admire.
