Sold $127 FV 40% & $11.50 FV 90% silver halves for $854.20 to Provident Metals. Is this about average? Thanks.

What was spot price based on when you made the deal?

I come up with $908.51 minus your $854.20 for a difference of $54.31, which is not bad. I assume you have to insure and ship the coins for a bit more, probably Registered Mail for security with this parcel, so another $15 -$20ish appox in shipping. Probably 10% back of spot or about (-)$90 would be the expected range, so I think you did well working with Provident. I like the company too as a buyer but have not experienced them as a seller yet. So I appreciate your example.

Thanks for the reply. This was my first time selling. I couldn't sell to APMEX because I didn't have at least $1000. I'm satisfied with what I got. eBay fees would have been over $100, so I'm glad I went with provident. I'm curious to see how soon I get the check. The rep said they'd send it out the day they receive the coins. We'll see. Thanks again for the reply.
