I was expecting some coins in mail, but definitely not this lot . I guess they were doing cleaning or disinfection in some mail facility and found it:
It was cheap lot of 4 LRB from Serbia, I already completely forgot about it. I don't think I even bothered to request a refund, it was something like $10 shipped. I wish I received another lost lot instead. That one was tracked to ISC New York two years ago and is stuck there since. There were some unique coins in it that I miss...
Cool! Maybe there is still hope for my item "lost" while passing through I.S.C. New York March of 2018!
That's cool that it finally showed up, even if it took that long. And I am in the same boat, I have like 6 coins at ISC New York never to be heard from again.
How cool! Fortunately I have only had this experience once, when an envelope carrying a follis of Diocletian disappeared between Arizona and California. Only issue I've ever had with the post office, excepting a few long delays in the ISC on shipments from Europe and the Middle East.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banja_Luka Republic of Srpska. Didn’t know it existed until a Serbian friend explained it to me. I always figure it’s a gamble If the coin will arrive when I buy from any of that area. Hence, cheap stuff only.
